National Saxaphone Day Cruise

November 6, 2012

Adophe Sax, the inventor of the saxaphone, was born 198 years ago today, and Cruiser Tuesday lines up with this special day only once every few years, so don’t miss out.

Also, there’s some sort of election happening today and folks that are interested in the results will be gathering at The Station.

Meeting at 7:30 at The Station.

Riding at precisely 8:17ish.

And remember, vote early, vote often, vote Sergio Flores!

And, Monsieur Sax was born in the town of Dinant, Belgium, in Wallonia (the French speaking part of Belgium.) So tonight, don’t drink just any beer, drink a Belgian beer! A couple of Trappists beers that originated close to Dinant are Maredsous and Chimay. Mmmm!

(Just one of the things learned about Belgium when the U.S. Air Force stationed me there for two years…)
