Cloud Nothings

May 16, 2012

Last year’s self-titled Cloud Nothings  LP was a lofi collection of noise-pop goodness from one man band Dylan Baldi.

This year’s follow up, Attack on Memory, is a Steve Alibini produced full band effort that is easily one of the best albums of 2012.  Not since Kill ‘Em All and Ride The Lightning has a band matured so much in such a short time.  Attack on Memory is still melodic and catchy, but with the added third dimension of bile, it is a much more urgent and complete work than their previous efforts.

And, by the way, in case there was any doubt that the 90’s are coming back into style (grunge and all), this album should help lay those doubts to rest.
