Kylesa have been steadily honing their unique blend of psychedelia, metal, and punk for the last ten years, and their recent release, Spiral Shadow, is definitely their best album to date.

Kylesa’s live shows have always induced slack jaws of amazement, and their recent Cradle performance opening for High on Fire was no exception, but their albums have been less consistent.  Every album has had it’s fair share of great moments, but Spiral Shadow listens much more like an album and less like a collection of songs.

Listen and buy.
