Top Dog?
In the super modern, high tech marketplace of 2013, small businesses, with their puny advertising budgets and low-key “brand presence”, need all the help they can get in wooing customers.
There’s a few small (and some free) things that you can do that could have a dramatic effect in ensuring the long term health of you favorite shops:
1) Bring cash. Credit card fees are BRUTAL! 3% may not sound like much, but if your profit margin is 10% or less it’s huge.
2) Write a review on Google, Yelp, etc. It’s difficult to over exaggerate the effect a good (or bad) review can have on walk-in traffic.
